Anthony J. Macchia

COO/CFO, Senior Principal

Good decisions lead to success in and outside of business. You should always gather as much information as you can, assess the risk versus reward and then use good judgment to make a decision. Tony Macchia says, “In our business, many times we make decisions based upon our client’s success, not our rewards.”

“I think our social activities play a very important role in making Genesis a great place to work and show our employees how much we truly value them.” Part of Tony’s fun-loving nature also lends itself to being Genesis’ Head Social Director. He enjoys chairing the Annual Poker Tournament, Family Day, Holiday Party, and the many other social events at Genesis.

Tony Macchia oversees and manages the financial, accounting, and administration functions at Genesis. With over 30 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, contract and legal negotiations, risk management, project controls, auditing and information system management, he enhances the firm’s strong technical capabilities in the delivery of their services. He is responsible for the strategic direction, future planning, and growth for the firm.

Tony works with the firm’s Principals and senior managers on a daily basis to manage operations and control costs for both Genesis and our clients. “Helping our clients is our main focus at Genesis. Whether delivering our services, providing expertise or just being able to recommend a solution to an issue they are having, our client’s success is what drives our organization.”

On Accountability

In today’s environment, to be successful, you need to be accountable. Our culture has always been one of striving to be the best. We take pride in our ability to understand the expectations before us, assess the appropriate actions necessary to achieve success and then hold ourselves accountable to meet these expectations. It is one of the core values that have contributed to our success and long term relationships with our clients.
