Joseph W. O’Donnell, CBCP

Vice President Construction, Senior Principal

“From a very young age, I was always taking things apart to see how they were built. It was a natural progression to go into the field of construction. With the technical nature of construction projects today, integrating commissioning into the construction process is key to building successfully.”

We constantly ask, “Can it be done better?” We take the initiative and extra time to do it better for our clients.

As Principal in charge of Construction Management and Commissioning, Joseph O’Donnell focuses on the construction, start up, commissioning, and qualification aspects of critical environment facilities and utilities.

With Joe’s 30 years of experience in the field, he oversees our Corporate Safety Program, as well as field supervision and commissioning processes relating to manufacturing, R&D facilities, pilot plants, hi-tech laboratories, animal facilities, and data centers. Genesis has the expertise to work on a diverse range of projects. We take on important projects that directly impact the bottom lines of our clients. “It’s the vast diversity of the experience of our people and the diversity of our skill sets that I think makes us unique.”

On Integrity

At Genesis, we become an extension of our client’s team. We make all project decisions with their best interests and goals in mind. “Integrity isn’t something you learn on the job. It’s built into everything we do. We take responsibility of our projects and truly act as our client’s representative. We manage the client, the project, the quality, the cost and every other part of the project.”
