Mr. Robison offers more than 20 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering and consulting in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, and institutional industries. He has experience in preparation and interpretation of HVAC load calculations, psychometric analysis of HVAC systems, HVAC equipment selection, ductwork and pipe sizing and selection, control diagrams, and sequence of operations. He is knowledgeable in fire protection, plumbing, and laboratory gas system designs.

Frank's background in engineering goes deeper than the Life Sciences industry. He has worked on a broad range of projects including hospitals, universities, museums, corporate, residential properties, and commercial developments. This versatility gives him the experience necessary to tackle any type of project. It enables him to apply his broad background in engineering to the diverse projects that we work on at Genesis.

On Communication

Communication is the key to a successful collaborative relationship. This is especially true when working with a project team. At Genesis we foster an atmosphere of free communication for the engineers and the project teams that they work with. Given this freedom to collaborate and create in an open forum gives engineers the opportunity to develop quality designs and to find creative solutions for challenging projects. "I feel this is where 'the great ideas' come from and this culture is part of what makes our teams so good. They think on their feet and solve problems for clients while meeting deadlines and budgets, reacting quickly and effectively to the fast paced design and construction environments."

Frank says that science, and the "engineering of the body" drew him towards the profession of medicine, and that he "should have become a doctor." An aptitude test suggested that he had the ability to become an excellent engineer. Frank's success as an engineer has proven that he chose the right path.
